Husband Arrested For The Murder Of His Wife Makayla Byers

 Frank Byers was arrested for the murder of his wife Makayla Fay Meave-Byers.

Makayla Byers was last seen alive Sept 15 leaving her home in the town of Macomb.

She got into a pickup truck being driven by a balding and bearded man, confirmed by the deputies.

Makayla was found 5 days later wrapped in a carpet and hidden inside a culvert. 

In an interview, Byers said he and his wife were in an open marriage. Frank said she left to go on a date with another man. 

Evidence:

His work boots had a blood substance on them, it came back a positive DNA match to Makayla Byers.

Makayla was shot in the twice. Frank Byers is accused of placing her body in the culvert about 2,000 feet away from her home.

Investigators believe Frank killed her so he could be in a relationship with another woman.

On his Facebook page, he posted about getting death threats and stating that he was innocent. 

Makayla Fay Meave-Byers was loved by many.

Justice For Jalayah Eason

  Lynija Eason was questioned about her young daughter's death, she was released on Sunday after being arraigned on child endangerment charges for abusing her other two children. S.he has not been charged in Jalayah's death. The case is still under investigation.

Neighbors heard 6 yr old Jalayah Eason screaming and begging for her life around 4am.

Lynija Eason called 911 and told the police that she found her daughter cold and not breathing inside a closet. The mother of 3 lived in NYCHA Forest Houses on East 165th Street. 

 




Jalayah Eason was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where she passed away.

 

Lynija Eason is charged with hurting her other children: Jezheir Eason-Branch 8 and 
Jelyenn Eason-Harris 3. 

According to the detective, the kids had cuts, scars, and rashes when the police visited the home on May 26. 
The children are removed from the home and they're in a secure place, according to ACS.

The system failed these children and it's sad that one child had to die before action was taken.

Besides the rich, who could afford these prices?
