Kicked off with a bang on Feb 17, 2019 and let me say this...It was amazing!

Alex McPherson played by Alison Sweeney returns to a Pennsylvania (small town) where she spent her summers to record her next episode of her crime podcast, about the disapperance of a childhood friend 20 years ago.

She teams up with a cutie name Benjamin Ayres, he hand his guard up at first but he helps her track down her friends last steps. Let's just say she found out a whole like stuff that when on in that town!

This episode had me so hooked, I felt like a fiend! Lol...If you don't know about this series, I recommend you to go see a doctor and gt on board. Lol (I like to tell jokes)

 

Just when you thought you had a hit and was good, Hallmark does it again and add..not 1 but 2 more episodes, Oh honey...I'm so glad they did! 

Everything Alison Sweeney stars in she absolutely slays it!

Jussie Smollet...I'm So Disappointed!

When Jussie Smollett posted that he was attacked by 2 masked me, I was very upset about it.  I felt like things were going back to the 80's where LGBT community were being attacked constantly just for being themselves. I thought it was disgusting then and I feel the same way now.

Jussie Smollett, 

I'm very disappointed in you! 
Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes but this is just ridiculous. 
Do you know how many people were on your side? 
This is a slap in the face to the ones that really thought you were attacked!
I don't know what was going through your mind at the time but you us all 
an a apology. What was the point of you staging this attack? Did you think 
about your career or your family? I don't think so!

Young man, you had such a wonderful career on Empire and God only knows what other opportunities  were going to fall in your lap. This has turned into a we stand with Jussie moment to he's a LIAR! 

I know your family is going to show you all the love and support, but at the same time it must feel awkward for them.

Jussie, whatever it is that you're feeling or going through...please get some help.

New Happy Planners 2019

The new 2019 planners are out and I already have my eye on 2 of them. I'm loving the Scenic Route and of course the mini eye glasses...take a look below.

Aren't they the cutest planners? I'm not sure if Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Joanns have them yet but I will be on the look out!

Yes! 
It's that time again....Fall is finally here. 
Fall/Autumn is my favorite season and Halloween is my favorite holiday.  
I love how the weather becomes cool, the leaves change to beautiful colors and the fashion is like no other!

As you can see what inspired me to design my planner with fall colors and call it Falloween.

To get this look below, I used Halloween paper pads and glitter wash tape.

The summer is over and Fall is approaching quickly, it's only right to get in the mood/spirit and make something special for the occasion. 

Let's start with the DIYs, I made a beautiful but simple wreath for my door. I bought all the items from Dollar Tree.

Hobby Lobby Cute New Sticker Collection

Calling all planner addicts & sticker collectors, Hobby Lobby have some new stickers...and let me just say it's too cute! Just look at the pics below.

The Paper Studio is showing out with there collection of brown girls stickers and sticker books.

The Elle Oh Elle collection is amazing, so far I've seen the washi tape, sticker books and paper pads...there's more just go in the store and take a look.

Agenda52 collection is nice but my favorite is the sticker book. I'm just being honest.

La Petites brown girl stickers are just gorgeous! You have to stock up because they sell out so fast.

Let's Make Sofrito!

It's time to get in the kitchen and whip up a batch or two of Sofrito! 

Let's get started....

Making a trip to the grocery store and getting all the ingredients and making it yourself will save you in the long run, and it's much flavorful than the one from the store. I must say I still buy the Goya brand when I run and out of my homemade sofrito or just being lazy....I'm keeping it real!

Ingredients:
Green Peppers
Sweet Red Peppers
Onions
Fresh Garlic
Culantro
Olive Oil (helps blending)
Sazon Goya con Culantro y Achiote

Note: Quantity is up to you

Blend:
Chop up all your ingredients, add to the blender with a a few small drops of olive oil. 
Blend until it's a thick liquid, add the sazon and blend again for a minute.

Storage: 
Ice cube trays (once frozen take them out of the trays and put it in a zip lock bag and keep in the freezer.)

This is just the basic steps I use, as you start to make it more frequently, you can explore with other ingredients. Everyone makes it different.

Squad Goals Happy Planner 2018-2019

Can we talk about how gorgeous this planner is?! This is my favorite planner of all time! Let's also talk about the melanin girl they added...so excited!

These are available at Michael's and Hobby Lobby, a few stores didn't receive them yet. Some of my friends already picked up there's. Make sure to use your coupon if it's not on sale.

I can't wait to get my hands on this particular planner.
